Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Federal Way is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Federal Way follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iโ€™m fortunate to have this nursery just a couple of minutesโ€™ walk from my house. I was happy to find many of the plants I had researched for Western Washington gardens, all clearly labeled. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful without any sales pressure. Prices seemed fair for shrubs and larger plants. The indoor and decorative plants were a bit pricier than what youโ€™d find at big-box stores, but the selection and service made for a great shopping experience overall. One improvement I would suggest is adding more inventory to the online plant list or improving the websiteโ€™s search functions. A more complete and searchable online plant list would make it easier for customers to see whatโ€™s available before visiting.

We came here to locate a specific plant. When we first walked in, we were amazed at all the little things they had for sale. It reminded me of one of those road side shop, during your childhood summer, long car trips. Once we started looking at plants, a gentleman walked up and asked if we needed help. He was very helpful and guiding us to the Jasmine plants and answering several other questions. It was a very friendly environment and a joy to be there. I am glad I chose this nursery over all the other ones. Will definitely be back for more.

I had a great experience here. I didn't get the name of the young lady at the checkout counter but she was very helpful and friendly. I was then assisted by Angie and she was very knowledgeable and professional. Angie helped me find flowering plants that attract hummingbirds. I will definitely come back here in the future for my gardening needs.๐Ÿชด๐Ÿ’š

We had a great time at Watsons Sedum Pumpkin workshop today! The teacher was excellent and there were so many beautiful things to decorate our pumpkins with. We look forward to the next class! They turned out beautifully.

Excellent nursery stock - a huge variety of both indoor and outdoor plants. Everything looks very healthy (as a former landscaper), unlike the big box stores. Loads of giftware indoors, most of which is conveniently sorted by color. Prices are higher than Lowes or Home Depot, but if you care about quality, it's totally worth it!
